The Harvest Stomp at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
On Saturday 19th September, 12pm-6pm, we’ll be celebrating a year of local food growing with communities across east London and beyond. The Harvest Stomp is a new community festival being held at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to celebrate local growing and local produce.

There will be festival fun for all the family including; a mobile farmyard, giant salad toss, music from the London Vegetable Orchestra, The Cream of the Crop Contest, barn dancing, bee keeping demonstrations and of course there’ll be lots of delicious local food and drink to enjoy. The Harvest Stomp is part of Urban Food Fortnight, a London-wide celebration of the city’s vibrant local food scene.
We’re inviting keen local growers to enter The Cream of the Crop, our very own harvest contest, sponsored by The Landscape Group. The judging will take place on the day and prizes will be awarded for the most impressive, tasty and creative entries.Harvest Stomp Photography Competition
Have you taken some great photos in London’s parks and open-spaces this summer? Enter the Harvest Stomp photography competition. To enter simply send your high res (300dpi) image/s to email@example.com and bring with you a 8 x 10 inch photograph on the day. Simply bring it to the Timber Lodge on the Park before 11:45 on Saturday 19th.
There’s a class to suit every grower or maker, whatever your age or experience. Simply bring your entries to The Timber Lodge between 9:00 – 11:45 am on Saturday 19th, the morning of the festival. There are 11 contest classes including; the heaviest pumpkin, the tastiest preserve and best cake made with your home grown ingredients.
Make your way to the Timber Lodge. 1A Honour Lea Avenue, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London E20 1DY.
