The Brixton Fund is the new micro grants initiative from the Brixton Pound, which opened for applications a week ago – closing on 30th October.
The Fund supports local individuals and groups that might struggle to access larger funding pots, and work to:
- Increase local employment opportunities
- Take action for social justice
- Strengthen communities
More general information about the Fund can be accessed here: http://brixtonpound.org/fund
Fund criteria and application guidance can be found here: http://brixtonpound.org/fund-criteria
And an application form can be downloaded here: http://brixtonpound.org/library/Fund_documentation/Application_form_1.docx
The application procedure has been designed to be as straightforward as possible so that the Fund is accessible across the board – including people or groups that have never attempted applying for funding before.
Please help us ensure that anyone in your community who might benefit with a grant of up to £2,000 (though more likely £500-£1000) for a project they have in mind, or for work they are already doing, is aware of the Brixton Fund.
