In accordance with the regulations of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012, Lambeth Council adopted its Lambeth Local Plan on 23 September 2015. The Lambeth Local Plan 2015 replaces the Core Strategy 2011, and the remaining saved sections of the Lambeth Unitary Development Plan 2007. The Lambeth Local Plan, together with the Mayor’s London Plan now form the development plan for the borough.
Regulation 16 of the Environmental Assessment of Plans and Programmes Regulations 2004 requires the council to inform consultation bodies that the Lambeth Local Plan 2015 as adopted, accompanying Sustainability Appraisal (incorporating Strategic Environment Assessment) and a copy of the Sustainability Appraisal Adoption Statement may be viewed:

Statement of Community Involvement
The council also adopted a revised ‘Statement of Community Involvement (SCI) on 23 September 2015. The SCI sets out how and when the community and stakeholders can be involved in development plan preparation and in the consideration of planning applications.
Building Extensions and Alterations Supplementary Planning Document (SPD)
On 14 September 2015 Cabinet approved the adoption of the Building Extensions and Alterations SPD. This document sets out guidance for those preparing to alter or extend their properties.
