We would like to remind you of our invitation to the ‘After Tomorrow’ Scenario Planning Workshop, on February 3rd from 9:30am to 4:30pm, at weare336, 336 Brixton Road.
If you are interested in attending, please sign up at www.aftertomorrow.eventbrite.com. There are only a limited number of spaces, and they’re filling up quickly. If you are unable to attend, please do forward the invitation to any colleagues or contacts who might be interested.
The workshop will contribute to the Director of Public Health’s Annual Public Health Report (APHR), which will focus on the future of health and wellbeing for children and young people in Lambeth.
Scenario planning is a creative, participative process to identify uncertainties, themes and risks, and their influence on how the future may evolve in different directions for children and young people. The process uses data and evidence including the knowledge, experience and expertise of children, parents and carers, and a wide range of interested parties across the local system in Lambeth. We will be using material from these sources at the workshop to explore and map possible futures for children and young people. From this we will develop the outlines of a range of potential future scenarios that may unfold for children and young people in Lambeth. Describing possible futures will enable Lambeth Council and partners to ‘stress-test’ strategies and policies to ensure the decisions we make enable children and young people to flourish over the longer term.
The day will be highly participative and use creative approaches to help us think into the future – a notoriously hard thing to do! Do join us in this interesting and crucial work.
Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
