Brixton Neighbourhood Forum has secured funding for a series of FREE courses open to community and voluntary sector organisations and those involved in small and medium sized enterprises.
The package of accredited Chartered Management Institute (CMI) courses in management and leadership training is being run in partnership with Management Focus, a recognised training company.
Devon Thomas of Brixton Neighbourhood Forum says organisations should apply now as: “the funding that allows us to offer this training and capacity building at minimal cost, is only available for a very short period of time.” The closing date for applications is Thursday 2 March. Successful applicants will have to attend an enrolment session 1pm-4:30pm 7 March.
Three strands to the programme include:
CMI Level 2 Diploma in Team Leading

The course focuses on people and operational management principles and practices and how to make effective use of information in the decision-making process.
