Priding Sports and Physical Activity in Lambeth? Come to this event!

Are you a community organisation/club/coach or a physical activity practitioner? Lambeth Council’s Sports and Leisure Service, invite you to attend our Physical Activity and Sport Provider Event. The event will be held on Tuesday 13 June, 6 -8:30pm at “We Are 336”

The event is a great opportunity to gain a better and wider understanding of health and physical activity matters. Obtain information on funding and grants that are available. Meet external partners within a market place environment, example (GLL/Disability Advice Service/Fulham Football Club/London Sport/Sported) who will be in a position to provide you with specific sporting/physical activity information.

You will get the opportunity to gather information around workforce and employability pathways available from partners, along with the opportunity to register your place on our forthcoming capacity building workshops. These workshops will be presented at the event and will cover the following club operational standards:

  • Business planning and structures
  • Club finances
  • Developing a marketing/social media strategy
  • Tax and PAYE understanding
  • Funding support for your organisation

We are keen to encourage community groups that do not deliver physical activity and sport as their main way of engaging people. Therefore, please feel free to circulate this invitation throughout your network and partnerships!

The event is FREE and will be held on:
Date:      Tuesday 13th June 2017
Time:      6:00pm – 8:30pm
Venue:  “We Are 336”, 336 Brixton Road, SW9 7AA
