‘Small Change, Big Difference’ is an EU-funded project about food waste prevention and can offer four workshops to community groups covering the following topics:
1. Meet and Greet – Learn about the campaign and what will be covered over the four weeks and get a chance to grow your own greens!
2. Buy what you need, eat what you buy – Learn practical tips on preventing food waste by making changes to shopping, storage and meal preparation
3. Good for you, good for the planet – Create a simple one-pot meal and learn about healthy sustainable eating along the way!
4. Food Recycling – Make it your norm – Get creative with your leftovers and put your scraps and peelings to good use.
Delivering sessions to community groups
We are working with Groundwork London to deliver these sessions to one or two community groups in Lambeth.
If you are, know of, or work with a group that would be interested in taking part please do get in touch and we can arrange delivery in the next three months.
All the workshops are delivered free by Groundwork London and will involve discussions, sharing ideas and learning useful and practical tips that can be tried at home.
Contact us now to sign up
In order to get the most out of the workshops we ask participants only to sign up if they can attend all four sessions.
We would be able to take 10 to 15 people and registration will be on a first come, first served basis. For more information please email RRobson@lambeth.gov.uk
